山东警察学院是一所公安类警察本科院校，位于美丽的泉城——山东省济南市。前身是创建于1946年的山东省警官学校。1983年经山东省人民政府批准，改建为山东公安专科学校。2004年经中华人民共和国教育部、山东省人民政府批准升格为山东警察学院。 山东警察学院是中共山东省委、山东省人民政府领导下的全日制高等院校，是山东公安机关的重要组成部分，由山东省人民政府举办，实行山东省公安厅、山东省教育厅共管，以山东省公安厅管理为主的管理体制。 截至2016年9月，学校2个校区共占地1745亩，全院校舍建筑总面积28万平方米。开本5个本科专业、3个专科专业，有教职工644人，专业技术人员527人。

Shandong police college is a public security police undergraduate colleges and universities, located in the beautiful city of spring - jinan, shandong province. Its predecessor was Shandong Provincial Police School founded in 1946. Approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province in 1983, it was rebuilt into Shandong Public Security College. In 2004, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Shandong Province approved the upgrade to Shandong Police College. Shandong Police College is a full-time institution of higher learning under the leadership of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Shandong Provincial People's Government. It is an important part of Shandong Provincial Public Security Organization. It is jointly managed by Shandong Provincial Government and Shandong Provincial Department of Public Security and Shandong Provincial Department of Education and mainly managed by Shandong Provincial Department of Public Security. As of September 2016, the university's two campuses cover a total area of 1,745 mu, with a total building area of 280,000 square meters. There are 5 undergraduate majors and 3 junior college majors. There are 644 teaching staff and 527 professional and technical personnel.
